SYNOPSIS

“Heaven” is a personal journey through the history of cinema culminating in its earliest form.

BIO

Todd McCammon (Writer / Producer / Director) - is a post-production editorial, design, animation, and visual effects producer for Click 3X in New York City. His projects have included “Building Legends” documentary series (HBO), branding promos for Nickelodeon, MTV, “Queer as Folk” (Showtime), and commercials for Canon, Sprint, Samsung, and Verizon. His short film, HEAVEN (2004), won Best Experimental Film at the Kansas City Filmmakers Jubilee and the Style Council Award at HypeFest (Los Angeles). In early 2005 it screened at the Museum of Modern Art (New York City) and is still playing the festival circuit. IF SPIELBERG MADE A SNUFF FILM (2002), a short film he co-produced / co-directed with Linda K. Moroney, was screened in over twenty film festivals and received Best Comedy Film at the Rising Stars Film Festival. His short film, EMPTY PAGES (1998), was screened in over 15 film festivals including the Boston and Philadelphia Film Festivals. THE CHRISTMAS HOUSE ON CANDLE STREET, a screenplay that he wrote in conjunction with Nancy Marino, has won seven screenwriting awards including Best Family Screenplay at the 19th Annual Breckenridge Film Festival. Currently, he is in production on a documentary about New York City’s street food vendors, which is being made possible in part by The Queens Council on the Arts with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
